When it all ends, the journey begins.

As Olivia’s connection to each man deepens, past grievances strain and unspoken feelings become harder to ignore. The shelter offers them a glimpse of the life they might build together. Beyond the trees, the ruined world is still waiting. The longer they remain, the more Olivia stands to lose when it finds them.

The old world did not die. It went underground.

Olivia learns that some of the survivors who escaped the city with her may be prisoners inside an underground facility controlled by a despotic group known as The Board. Determined to bring them out, she and her companions descend into a hidden world where the old order has not disappeared. It has merely retreated underground, taking its brutality, privilege, and cruelty with it. To rescue the prisoners, they must confront a society that preserved the worst of the old world and called it survival.
